Status:

Found solitary or in small groups on ground in coniferous or mixed forests.

Description:

Cap: White; broadly convex to flat with shallow depression; smooth; moist or greasy; flesh white. Gills: White; subdecurrent; distant; thick, waxy. Stalk: White; dry; smooth or finely hairy; may taper down (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
