Description:

Lilac-brown cap, broadly convex with depressed center in age; smooth to slimy (when wet); margin remains incurved; white latex stains gills dark. Gills: Cream with pinkish tinge; close. Stalk: White.

Relationships:

Found scattered on ground in hardwood forests, mostly oak. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
