Status:

Cicindela limbalis was only discovered in Allegany Co., Maryland in May 2019. Specimens were collected during a survey and determined by Jonathan Mawdsley. (S. Droege, pers. comm.) USGS describes the species' preferred habitat as follows: "usually steep, moist bare clay soil, including open hill tops, dirt roads, and especially river or stream banks". Photos expected soon.
