The only member of this genus in eastern North America. (BugGuide)

Relationships:

Nests in sandy soil. Preys on katydids (Tettigoniidae), usually nymphs, often shield-back katydids (Tettigoniinae), which, in the East, would be Atlanticus. (BugGuide)
