Big Bluestem is widely planted in warm season grass mixes and considered uncommon throughout Maryland (Terrell & Peterson, 2009).

Relationships:

Big Bluestem is a host plant for Dusted Skipper, Delaware Skipper, and Cobweb Skipper.
