Status:

Native to the Coastal Plain. Tolerates a variety of soil and climate conditions. A good forage grass for wildlife.

Where to find:

Coastal Plain areas.

Relationships:

Used as a host plant for Hobomok Skipper, Delaware Skipper, Leonard's Skipper, and Northern Broken-Dash.
