Saturday, April 29, Jim Brighton will lead an MBP field trip to Hughes Hollow (Mckee-Beshers WMA) and Sycamore Landing. This will only be a half-day trip (9 am-12 pm). We will meet in the Hughes Hollow parking lot at 9 am. After we explore the impoundments of Hughes Hollow we will travel a short distance north to Sycamore Landing and walk along the C&O Canal Towpath.

The trails will be easy/dry to hike and the pace will be leisurely. We will be looking at birds, plants, insects, and any other creatures we might find. Bring binoculars if you have them. This is a great trip for beginning birders and plant enthusiasts!
