Join trip leader Bonnie Ott to learn how to find Bolas Spiders. Every sighting is precious! So, what makes these spiders so difficult to find? Bolas Spiders are such good experts at camouflage that they are hardly even recognizable as a spider. They are commonly overlooked as a bird dropping or gall and they tend to spend the day immobile on leaves.

Trying to find this spider will be a fun challenge and highly rewarding because whether or not you find one, you’re bound to find plenty of other cool creatures out there. In short, this field trip is going to be a Bolas-t!
