Status:

Found solitary or, more often, in clusters on living/dead hardwoods (especially oak and cherry) or conifers.

Description:

Rosette of orange or orange/yellow flattened caps, radially wrinkled, fan shaped; margin pale orange, blunt, often lobed. Pores bright yellow (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
