A male Coelioxys hunteri collected in Jones Co., Georgia (8/9/2012). Tim McMahon collected the first specimen for Maryland in Cecil Co. (7/2013). This species is a nest parasite of bee species in the genus Megachile. Little is known of its natural history and there are very few records from the Eastern U.S. Photo by
