Description:

Pileus pinkish-cinnamon to orange-cinnamon color pileus. Unlike its close relative Lactarius chrysorrheus, the latex quickly changes to a bright sulfur color. (L. Biechele, pers. comm.)

Relationships:

Mycorrhizal with conifers.
