Description:

Compact, whitish to yellowish; folded, flattened lobes with dark tips. Stalk: Dark brown/black, tapers down; deeply rooted (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Where to find:

Habitat: Solitary or groups at base of decaying conifers.
