Found in groups on leaves, decaying wood, or soil in mixed woods.

Description:

Fruiting body: Tiny (up to 1/8") yellow cup; fertile surface (interior) smooth; infertile surface covered with short, stiff hairs. No stalk. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
