Thin-maze Flat Polypore Daedaleopsis confragosa (Bolton) J. Schröt.    Synonyms: Daedalea confragosa, Lenzites klotzschii, Thin-walled Maze Polypore.

Where to find:

Fruiting body: Shades of brown, irregular surface with concentric zones; semicircular; margin thin; flesh bruises pink; odor pleasant. Pores: White to pale gray; stain pinkish when young, darker pinkish-brown in age. Compare to Thick-maze Oak Polypore (Daedalea quercina).

Relationships:

Found scattered or in groups on decaying hardwoods, especially oak. (J. Solem, pers. comm.)
