Status:

Southeastern U.S. species. Maryland's first record appears to expand the species' known range according to BugGuide and Moth Photographers Group data. On 4/6/2015, BugGuide's species page summarizes its range as "North Carolina to Florida, west along coast to eastern Texas." However, BugGuide now has a single record for Virginia and this record from Maryland.
