Description:

Cap: Yellow/ochraceous; convex, then flattened with depressed center in age, dry; flesh firm, white/grayish; cap skin peels very short distance. Gills: While to pale yellow, occasionally with brownish stains, close; some forking near stalk. Stalk: White, may have yellow or brown tinges, lengthwise wrinkles (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Where to find:

Solitary or groups on ground in hardwood forests (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
