Description:

Cap: White with pinkish or buff stains; convex to vase-shaped; dry, smooth, sometimes slightly wrinkled; lacks zonation; latex white to cream, unchanging. Gills: White to cream; latex may stain gills yellow/brown; decurrent; close; often forked. Stalk: White with brownish stains; dry; thick (J. Solem, pers. comm.).

Where to find:

Scattered/groups on ground in hardwood/mixed forests (J. Solem, pers. comm.).
