Relationships:

8-14 bright green eggs are are laid in two alternate rows on pine needles or in a random group on a cone; one generation per year; overwinters as adult in leaf litter, becoming active again in late spring or early summer. Nymphs and adults feed on seeds of pines. (BugGuide)
