Description:

Juniper Pocket Rot is a relatively large, polypore shelf fungus. It is woody and usually gray to dark brown above with concentric lines showing annual growth. It is easily recognized by its Juniper host. It is similar to Cracked Cap Polypore which grows on hardwoods.
