Description:

Rhodofomes roseus is a shelf-like fungus usually found on conifers. It is pink to brownish above with a pink pore surface below. It is very similar to Rhodofomes cajanderi but R. roseus usually has a more defined hemispheric shape and - microscopically - it has cylindrical spores.

Relationships:

On conifer trees sometimes hardwoods.
