Status:

Chrysanthemum White Rust is a regulated invasive species in the US (MISC 2022). Although reported from Maryland, the species is not thought to be naturalized in the US. Note that this is a microscopic, pathogenic fungus and reports without microscopic or molecular confirmation are speculative.

Relationships:

Chrysanthemum White Rust causes leaf spots on Chrysanthemum species. The 'white' spots form on the underside of the leaves; the spots on the upper surface tend to be yellow to brown.
