Hairy Bittercress is native to Eurasia, but now found nearly worldwide in disturbed habitats. It can be found growing in yards, roadsides, and other disturbed areas throughout Maryland. Hairy Bittercress is one of the first plants to bloom in late winter/early spring.
Hairy Bittercress can be differentiated from other Cardamine species by having compound stem leaves, a very pronounced rosette of basal leaves, and leaflets that are mostly obtuse.
There are 670 records in the project database.
