Description:

Note that our Brood X comprises three very similar species. Identification is best confirmed via photos of the underside of the abdomen. We're happy to archive unidentified Periodical Cicada species on this page. There is excellent info at the Cicada Mania web site.

Birds: Mississippi Kite, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Great Crested Flycatcher, Fish Crow, White-breasted Nuthatch, Gray-cheeked Thrush, Swainson's Thrush, American Robin, Gray Catbird, Northern Mockingbird, European Starling, Cedar Waxwing, Northern Cardinal, Blue Grosbeak, Common Grackle, House Sparrow.

Mammals: Eastern Gray Squirrel, Eastern Chipmunk, Domestic Dog, House Cat.
