Quill Fameflower Phemeranthus teretifolius (Pursh) RafinesqueThreatened (MD)  -  S2 (State rare)Synonyms: Roundleaf Fameflower,  Talinum teretifolium.

Relationships:

Quill Fameflower only blooms for a few hours in a single afternoon. If the bloom is not fertilized by a passing bee in the hour that the bloom is open it will close and self fertilize.
