Cream Tick-trefoil Desmodium ochroleucum M.A. CurtisG2 (Globally rare)  -  Endangered (MD)  -  S1 (Highly state rare)  -  Coastal Plain onlySynonyms: Meibomia ochroleuca.

Status:

Endangered by habitat loss. Collected numerous times historically (1863-1910) and labeled in a rather casual manner, with only vague locality information, suggesting the species was not uncommonly encountered. This species is now only found in Dorchester County. Populations from all other counties are considered extirpated (MD DNR).

Where to find:

Sandy barrens and open oak woodlands (MD DNR).
