Common Ladyfern Athyrium filix-femina Roth ex Mertens  Synonyms: Asplenium filix-foemina,  Athyrium angustum,  Athyrium asplenioides,  Athyrium filix-femina ssp. angustum,  Athyrium filix-femina ssp. asplenioides.

Status:

Two varieites of Common Ladyfern occur in Maryland: Athyrium filix-femina var. angustum and Athyrium filix-femina var. asplenioides (Knapp & Naczi, 2014).
