Flax-leaved Whitetop Aster Ionactis linariifolia (Linnaeus) Green  Synonyms: Aster linariifolius, Flaxleaf Aster, Ionactis linearifolius.

Status:

Leaves are linear, entire, and stiff with one main vein running the length of the leaf. Flowers are typically violet and can be white.
