Golden-banded Skipper Telegonus cellus (Boisduval & Leconte, [1837])Extirpated  Synonyms: Autochton cellus, Golden Banded-Skipper.


The Golden-banded Skipper is extirpated in Maryland. The eastern population of this large skipper has become exceedingly rare across its range.


Host plant: The eastern population feeds exclusively on American Hog Peanut (Cech and Tudor, 2005).
