Secondary Screwworm Fly Cochliomyia macellaria (Fabricius, 1775)

Description:

The yellow facialia, which complement the three black stripes on thorax, characterize this fly as C. macellaria. (Carlos Silva, BugGuide). It's the only member of the genus that makes it this far north (B. Coulter).
